Recording new album…

Dandelion Wine are currently in Berlin, Germany to record the follow up to last year’s “Selected Anachronisms”. And for those of you who have been asking us what direction the new album is heading in, well, we think it’s best to say there will be “more”… More mellow, more heavy, more exotic and worldy, more electronic, more acoustic, more intimate, more dancey… just more really!

Regular updates (in words, pictures, video and sound) will be posted on the band’s myspace, facebook and twitter pages. Befriend, follow, become a fan to keep in touch! And the promised disco-punk 50’s Christmas song is done and has just been released! “Black Snow – the completely different Xmas compilation” is out now. As well as the Dandelion Wine version of “I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas”, it also features a bunch of other Black Rain bands getting all festive, including Feindflug, Tyske Ludder, the Pussybats, Hioctan, Jabberwock and more… everything from “Fairtytale Of New York” to “Hava Negila”… Nuts? Yep, probably… but ’tis the silly season after all!!!
